Fucking Iggy Azalea!
So I’m happily reminiscing on some older track by one of my favourite artists, Robyn when I remember the song ‘Backseat’ by Staygold which she featured on alongside Spank Rock and Damien Adore.
Annoyingly I come across the precise type of comment I hate seeing:
“I only know this song because of Iggy Azalea. lol It’s great though.”
My heart skipped a beat. Surely not… But of course, the internet never lies. It’s true. The lovely Australian rapper has rapped over a beat that samples this piece of electropop goodness and like most of her music, it isn’t at all to my liking. Why Iggy, why?
